My client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial glazing projects from award through completion.

The successful candidate will manage commercial glazing projects from contract award through fabrication, installation and final closeout, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Project Manager with experience in storefront, curtain wall or related glazing systems to join an established team.

The company is particularly interested in candidates who have managed projects ranging from approximately $250,000 to $2 million. Experience managing significantly larger projects is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial glazing projects from contract award through fabrication, installation and final closeout.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, procurement, material delivery and overall project performance.
• Review project drawings, specifications and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with general contractors, architects, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Manage shop drawing submissions, engineering coordination and material approvals.
• Work closely with the fabrication and warehouse teams to ensure materials are produced and delivered in line with project schedules.
• Monitor project costs, change orders, progress billings and payment applications.
• Identify potential project risks, delays and cost overruns, implementing solutions where necessary.
• Conduct project meetings and provide regular updates to clients and senior management.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with project specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Manage project documentation, punch lists and final closeout.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Project Manager within commercial glazing or architectural aluminum.
• Strong knowledge of storefront, curtain wall, window wall or related glazing systems.
• Experience managing commercial construction projects valued between $250,000 and $2 million.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings and specifications.Understanding of project budgets, scheduling, procurement and change order management.
• Experience coordinating with general contractors, suppliers, fabrication teams and field personnel.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
