Bagels & Co. is seeking a highly organized Project Manager, Design & Construction to lead multi-site restaurant openings from lease to grand opening across our growing portfolio.

You will manage schedules, budgets, design coordination, permitting, vendor activities, and opening readiness while ensuring on-time delivery and brand standards. Qualifications

• 3–7 years of project management experience in restaurant, retail, hospitality, or commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant development and construction processes.
• Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and critical path timelines.
• Lead weekly project reviews and status reporting.
• Identify and resolve risks that may impact opening schedules or budgets.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, landlords, and vendors.
• Review plans for operational, brand, and construction compliance.
• Track design deliverables and ensure adherence to project timelines.
• Monitor permit submissions, approvals, inspections, and utility applications.
• Coordinate with municipalities, landlords, architects, and expediters.
• Escalate delays and permitting issues as needed.
• Coordinate general contractors and vendor partners.
• Monitor construction progress, quality standards, and budget performance.
• Manage change orders and maintain project documentation.
• Conduct site visits and support construction reviews.
• Partner with Operations, Training, IT, Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams.
• Coordinate equipment deliveries, installations, and final inspections.
• Manage opening readiness milestones and turnover to Operations.

Bagels & Co. is seeking a highly organized and driven Project Manager, Design & Construction to support the development and opening of new restaurants across our growing portfolio.

This position is responsible for managing multiple projects from lease execution through grand opening, coordinating design, permitting, construction, vendor activities, and opening readiness while ensuring projects stay on schedule, on budget, and aligned with company standards.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively with diverse stakeholders, and proactively solves problems before they impact project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

Qualifications

Required

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Preferred

• Experience with multi‑unit restaurant brands.
• Fast Casual or QSR development experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Bluebeam, and Excel.
• Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.

Salary Range: $80,000 – $100,000 annually, based on experience
