Applied Industrial Technologies, via FCX Performance, is seeking a Project Manager in a hybrid role in Florida. You will own full project lifecycle execution, align scope, schedule, and budget, and act as the main liaison with customers and internal teams to drive profitable results.

You will coordinate with sales, engineering, document control, and expediting, manage change orders, and support bid packages while safeguarding margins and delivering on commitments.

Formación

• Industry experience in project management or industrial equipment is preferred.
• PMP certification is preferred and sponsorship is available.
• Bachelor's degree is highly preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Strong negotiation skills with ability to manage pricing and contract terms.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure on-time, on-spec deliveries and maintain accurate project records.

The Project Manager owns full lifecycle execution of assigned projects, from front-end coordination and order entry through final closeout. This role is the primary point of accountability for scope, schedule, budget, and customer satisfaction on each project, and works cross-functionally with sales, engineering, document control, and expediting to ensure successful, profitable execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own project execution end-to-end: front-end coordination, kickoff, execution, and closeout
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers and customers
• Serve as primary point of contact for internal and external customers throughout the project lifecycle
• Meet regularly with customers and internal stakeholders to manage expectations, resolve issues, and maintain strong working relationships
• Manage project scope, schedule, and budget; proactively identify and mitigate risk of scope creep and cost overruns
• Coordinate with Engineering, Document Control, and Expediting to keep projects on track
• Review and manage contract terms and conditions, escalating concerns as needed
• Identify and process change orders and follow-on work, protecting margin and capturing incremental value
• Support the sales team on project bid packages and provide technical/commercial input during the quoting process
• Ensure supplier accountability and on-time, on-spec delivery
• Maintain accurate project records and reporting in line with team accounting and tracking practices
• Escalate customer or execution issues promptly and drive them to resolution

QUALIFICATIONS

• Industry experience strongly preferred (project management, industrial/mechanical equipment, EPC, or related field)
• PMP certification highly preferred; candidates without PMP but with the desire to pursue certification will be considered, and we will support and sponsor the path to obtaining it
• Bachelor's degree highly preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
• Strong negotiation skills, with demonstrated ability to manage pricing and contract terms
• Excellent communication skills, with comfort presenting to and negotiating with both internal leadership and external customers
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing deadlines
• Ability to work cross-functionally across engineering, document control, and expediting functions
• Go getter attitude with a strong sense of ownership. Someone who takes initiative and drives issues to resolution rather than waiting to be told
• Quick, practical problem solver who can think on their feet under project pressure and keep things moving
