DHL Express is seeking a qualified Project Manager to lead large projects with global impact. This role develops high and detailed plans and budgets, directs teams, and ensures alignment with DHL guidelines and business objectives.

Location is flexible within any EXP US location; this position requires effective communication, risk management, and stakeholder collaboration across multiple business groups.

Qualifications

• 8-11 years’ experience in related field, or MS/MA with 5-7 years’ experience.
• PM certification preferred.
• Strong forecasting and budgeting capabilities.

We have an immediate career opportunity for a qualified Project Manager with DHL Express. This Project Manager leads plans and administers work on large projects, having a significant business or global impact on the organization. This role develops high level and detailed project plans and budgets; directs team members in the completion of assignments; identifies and resolves key barriers/problems; monitors and tracks progress and implementation of plans to ensure desired results and in alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, DHL guidelines and policies, budget parameters, schedule expectations, and quality standards.

Any EXP US location (based on business needs and leadership approval).

Key Responsibilities:

• Implements and administers effective planning, budgeting, and project proposal systems.
• Prepares timely and actionable analyses, forecasts, and recommendations for assigned projects to ensure achievement of business objectives.
• Provides consistent and accurate research, information, and analysis to the project manager.
• Develops and follows appropriate processes and procedures for accomplishing work.
• Participates in project team meetings with stakeholders and clients to discuss issues, direction, and implementation strategies and to solicit new viewpoints.
• Develops and maintains a productive working relationship with project team members and other key stakeholders by establishing and maintaining regular communication.
• Communicates project progress and status to management. May assist in developing project deliverables.
• Meets with customers and prospects to understand unique needs and to follow the progress of their plans.
• May provide functional guidance, advice and/or training to less experienced project analysts.

Skills & Qualifications:

• BS/BA in related discipline and 8-11 years’ experience in related field, or MS/MA and 5-7 years’ experience in related field.
• Project Management certification preferred.
• Strong financial forecasting, knowledge of building codes, and professional certifications.
• Proven project/portfolio management skills; comfort with Agile/Lean.
• Ability to lead and drive projects across different business groups of stakeholders.
• Clear and concise project status communication to all stakeholders
• Proactive risks and issues management to avoid impact to projects
• Ability to influence
