Job summary

S/L/A/M Collaborative in Denver, CO seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead institutional projects in healthcare or education. You will oversee multi-disciplinary teams, coordinate with clients, and drive project workplans, budgets, and schedules from inception to close.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in institutional PM, strong communication, and the ability to manage consultant contracts and invoicing while maintaining client relations and supporting marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor and/or Master of Architecture from an accredited program.
• Minimum 10+ years of institutional project management experience.
• Strong presentation, communication, organizational, team building and collaboration skills.
• Licensure required.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and coordinating with external consultants.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Revit is expected.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project team through the life of the project including architects, interior designers, engineers and consultants.
• Coordinate with internal team members and maintain positive communications with clients.
• Develop and maintain project workplans, budgets, and schedules.
• Prepare consultant contracts and monthly invoices.
• Represent the firm in client interactions and assist in marketing efforts.

Salary Range: $90,000.00 To $135,000.00 Annually

The S/L/A/M Collaborative has an opening in our Denver, CO office for a Project Managerwithinstitutionalproject experience, preferably within the Healthcare or Education market sectors . The ideal candidate for this position will bring strong management skills and acumen, team leadership, and client relationship skills. This position will involve owner interaction and coordination of the work of project teams. The PM’s responsibilities will include developing and maintaining project workplans, budgets, and schedules. The candidate should have writing skills and an understanding of contract language sufficient to generate proposals and consultant agreements.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Manage the project team through the life of the project including: SLAM staff architects, interior designers, structural engineers, landscape architects, and coordination with various consultants
• Continuously collaborate with P-I-C and/or internal team members
• Maintain positive communications with colleagues,clients, and consultants
• Ability to plan ahead, develop and express concepts accurately and rapidly, manage the project team, and meet deadlines
• Client contact representing firm/team on projects
• Assist in marketing efforts, may attend interviews
• Preparation of consultant contracts and monthly processing of consultant invoices

Key Skills:

• Minimum of 10+ years of institutional project management experience
• Experience completing small and large-scale, complex, Healthcare and/or Education projects preferred
• Bachelor and/or Master of Architecture from an accredited program
• Strong presentation, communication, organizational, team building, collaboration and communication skills are a must
• ACHA accreditation preferred, but not required
• Highly motivated, good team player with the ability to juggle multiple tasks, collaborate with large multi-disciplinary teams, and work well under deadlines
• Exhibit proficiency in MS Office and Revit
• Licensure required

The anticipated salary range for this position is $90,000 – 135,000. Actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
