Project Manager

Join to apply for the Project Manager role at The S/L/A/M Collaborative (SLAM) in Denver, CO.

This role requires experience in institutional project management, preferably within the Healthcare or Education sectors. The candidate will bring strong management skills, team leadership, and client relationship skills. Responsibilities include owner interaction, coordination of project teams, and development of project workplans, budgets, and schedules.

Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the project team through the life of the project including SLAM staff architects, interior designers, structural engineers, landscape architects, and coordination with various consultants.
  • Continuously collaborate with P-I-C and/or internal team members.
  • Maintain positive communications with colleagues, clients, and consultants.
  • Plan ahead, develop and express concepts accurately and rapidly, manage the project team, and meet deadlines.
  • Represent the firm/team in client contact on projects.
  • Assist in marketing efforts and may attend interviews.
  • Prepare consultant contracts and process monthly consultant invoices.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10+ years of institutional project management experience.
  • Experience completing small and large‑scale, complex Healthcare and/or Education projects preferred.
  • Bachelor and/or Master of Architecture from an accredited program.
  • Strong presentation, communication, organizational, team‑building, collaboration and communication skills.
  • ACHA accreditation preferred but not required.
  • Highly motivated, good team player with the ability to juggle multiple tasks, collaborate with large multidisciplinary teams, and work well under deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Revit.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $90,000 – $135,000. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
