Job summary

Ferguson Construction Co. in Dayton, OH, seeks a Project Manager to lead a team of Superintendents, Project Engineers and Project Administrators to complete projects safely, on time, and on budget.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management and at least 2 years of PM experience in construction, with Procore and MS Office proficiency. Strong communication and multitasking abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar technical training/experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a project manager within the construction industry.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite including MS Project.
• Strong working knowledge of Procore construction management software.
• Strong architectural and civil background along with mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the pre-construction process.
• Assist and lead the procurement process.
• Generate and manage project schedules and manpower requirements.
• Schedule and lead job meetings and Owner meetings.
• Manage and lead all communication for the project both internally and externally.
• Manage and lead all project information, submittal and rfi submissions.
• Manage and lead all change event activity.
• Responsible for the overall financial health of the project including monthly variance meetings held with operations manager and project superintendent.
• Create and maintain the high standard of trustworthy relationships for subcontractors, suppliers and all internal staff.

JOB SUMMARY
