Job summary

Green Key Resources is partnering with a well-established General Contractor to hire a seasoned Construction Project Manager focused on K-12 school projects in Ohio. You will lead from preconstruction to closeout, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with districts, architects, and subcontractors to deliver safe, high-quality education facilities.

This role emphasizes strong leadership, clear communication, and meticulous documentation to minimize disruption to active school environments

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• K-12 construction experience required.
• Ground-up schools, additions, renovations, or public-sector construction.
• Strong understanding of budgets, scheduling, cost controls, and subcontractor management.
• Experience with Procore or similar construction management software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage K-12 construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, subcontractor buyout, and cost forecasting.
• Coordinate with school districts, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Oversee phased construction, renovations, and additions while minimizing disruptions to active school environments.
• Collaborate with Superintendents to ensure safety, quality, and scheduling expectations.
• Maintain strong relationships with owners and project stakeholders.

This organization has an impressive portfolio of K-12 projects, including new school construction, major renovations, classroom additions, athletic facilities, and multi-building school district improvements.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Manage K-12 construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
