Job summary

Hansen Talent Group is seeking a Project Manager to lead infrastructure and cybersecurity modernization initiatives for a large agency in South Carolina. You will drive enterprise-wide efforts to strengthen infrastructure, improve resiliency, reduce risk, and ensure alignment with cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory requirements.

You’ll work across IT, Security, Operations, and business teams to deliver high-impact modernization projects that span server, network, cloud, and endpoint

Qualifications

• IT project management experience, infrastructure or cybersecurity focus.
• Experience with enterprise network environments (LAN/WAN fundamentals).
• Experience with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST or comparable standards.
• Experience supporting Azure and/or AWS cloud environments.
• Experience with Active Directory and endpoint management platforms.
• Experience using Azure DevOps, SharePoint, MS Project, and/or Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure and security projects across server, network, cloud, endpoint, identity, and core platforms.
• Manage full project lifecycle (charter, scope, schedule, risk, execution, reporting).
• Partner with IT leadership to prioritize initiatives and manage the infrastructure/security portfolio.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure delivery within scope and timeline.
• Track risks, dependencies, and compliance requirements; escalate issues with mitigation plans.
• Provide executive-level reporting and maintain clear project documentation.

What You’ll Do

• Lead infrastructure and security projects across server, network, cloud, endpoint, identity, and core platforms.
• Manage full project lifecycle (charter, scope, schedule, risk, execution, reporting).
• Partner with IT leadership to prioritize initiatives and manage the infrastructure/security portfolio.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure delivery within scope and timeline.
• Track risks, dependencies, and compliance requirements; escalat issues with mitigation plans.
• Ensure alignment with IT governance, change management, and cybersecurity standards (NIST CSF, 800-53, FISMA, CIS).
• Provide executive-level reporting and maintain clear project documentation.

What You’ll Need

• IT project management experience (infrastructure or cybersecurity focused).
• Experience with enterprise network environments (LAN/WAN fundamentals).
• Experience working with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST or comparable standards through the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
• Experience supporting Azure and/or AWS cloud environments.
• Experience with Active Directory and endpoint management platforms.
• Experience using Azure DevOps, SharePoint, MS Project, and/or Excel.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
