Job summary

Welldoc, a leader in digital health, seeks a Project Manager to drive complex initiatives across clinical staff, customers, and development teams. You will define scope, manage plans, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely, within-budget delivery while maintaining quality and regulatory alignment.

The role demands collaboration across global teams, strong communication, and a commitment to excellence in fast-paced environments. A PMP/PRINCE II and experience with SDLC are highly valued.

Qualifications

  • 5 years’ experience in project and product management.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies, product development and change management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Define the project scope and objectives, involve all relevant stakeholders and ensure technical feasibility.
  • Develop and manage sustainment project plans that establish scope, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
  • Report and escalation to management as needed.
  • Coordinate with internal and external team members.
  • Clarify requirements to ensure project execution according to plan. Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Manage external vendors throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Lead contracting and project execution, ensuring accountability and project delivery according to time, scope, budget, and quality.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Collaborate across global enterprise to deliver quality products.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.

Job Purpose

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects and working closely with clinical staff, external customers, web and mobile software developers, and quality assurance testers within a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 5 years’ experience in project and product management
  • Proficient in project life cycle from initiation through closure
  • Have a solid understanding of SDLC methodologies, product development and change management
  • Demonstrated progressive experience in managing projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to use project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Experience in using Atlassian tools like JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience with process improvement and inventory control
  • Proficiencies include a solid understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies, product development and change management.

Welldoc operates in ISO 13485 and MDSAP regulated and HITRUST and SOC 2 Type II compliant environments. Therefore, it is expected that all employees will have either, prior experience working in those environments or, will be trained to understand the requirements needed to work and support those requirements and culture as they relate to individual roles and responsibilities.

Required Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is preferred
Compensation & Benefits

Welldoc offers a competitive compensation package which, in addition to salary, includes generous PTO, medical insurance, dental insurance, vision care, life and disability insurance, retirement benefits .and the opportunity to participate in health savings accounts and/or dependent care accounts. While the anticipated salary range for this position is between $90,000-$130,000/year with the expectation that most candidates will fall around the midpoint of the range. Exceptional candidates may exceed the range if education and experience warrant.

Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment, you may be required to complete and clear a multi-panel drug screening process. This screening is in connection with requirements set by certain of the Company’s customers, with which you may be working in this role, and will at all times be administered under all applicable laws.
