Managing Consultant - Multifamily & Commercial Construction - Florida

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead and manage construction projects in the multifamily and hospitality sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing ground-up and renovation construction projects, with the ability to oversee all phases from pre-construction through project close-out. This role is essential in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Coordination

• Lead project planning and scheduling from pre-construction to completion.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Review plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance and clarity.

Budget & Cost Management

• Develop and manage project budgets and cost control measures.
• Approve vendor invoices and subcontractor payments.
• Monitor change orders and maintain proper documentation.

Schedule Management

• Create and maintain master project schedules.
• Ensure milestones and deadlines are met.
• Adjust scheduling as necessary to accommodate unforeseen conditions.

Construction Oversight

• Oversee daily field operations in collaboration with on-site Superintendent.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and safety compliance.
• Resolve construction issues in real-time to maintain project momentum.

Client & Stakeholder Communication

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams.
• Provide regular updates and progress reports to stakeholders.
• Facilitate project meetings and ensure alignment with client expectations.

Quality & Safety Assurance

• Enforce quality control standards across all trades.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Promote a culture of safety on all job sites.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5-8 years of project management experience in multifamily & hospitality construction.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam).
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and building codes.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
