Job summary

ACCIONA Energía is seeking a Project Manager to lead utility-scale renewable energy ventures, including solar PV, BESS, wind, and hybrid facilities. You will manage development through commissioning, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure safety, schedule, quality, and budget adherence.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in large-scale energy projects, a engineering or construction background, and strong project controls experience; travel up to 50% is expected along

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing utility-scale renewable energy, power generation, heavy industrial, or infrastructure projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
  • Strong experience with project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, cost-to-complete, and project controls.
  • Strong contract administration and commercial management experience, including EPC and related project agreements.
  • Experience with project scheduling, risk management, performance reporting, and managing multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint; experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Autodesk platforms is a plus.
  • PMP and OSHA 30-Hour certifications are preferred; on-site construction experience is preferred.
  • Ability to travel 25%-50% to domestic and international locations.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of utility-scale renewable energy projects from development through commercial operation, coordinating multidisciplinary project teams across construction, engineering, safety, quality, environmental, procurement, project controls, and commissioning.

  • Serve as a primary interface with utilities, transmission providers, engineering firms, contractors, equipment suppliers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Champion a proactive safety culture and drive performance against TRIR, LTIR, and environmental objectives.
  • Support the recruitment and training of project personnel.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

ACCIONA Energía is seeking a Project Manager to lead the successful execution of utility-scale renewable energy projects, including solar PV, battery energy storage systems (BESS), wind, and hybrid energy facilities. This position manages projects from development and pre-construction through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and commercial operation, with a focus on safety, quality, schedule, budget, and overall project performance. The role leads multidisciplinary teams and coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Job Description

Pay & Benefits
  • Base Pay: $115,000 - $135,0000
  • 10% Annual Performance Bonus (based on individual performance and company metrics)
