ServiceMaster DSI in Chicago, IL is seeking an Estimator/Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial losses from fire, water, mold, and natural disasters. You7ll build and grow accounts, manage projects start-to-finish with supervision, and travel as required.

Salary range is $70,000.00 to $85,000.00 annually with uncapped bonus potential. Eligible benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401K, generous PTO, a competitive base salary, and a vehicle stipend.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is required.
• Experience in restoration and construction is preferred.
• Experience with Xactimate software is required.

Responsabilités

• Support and implement the Companyace Project Quality Planning and Control process.
• Initiate and maintain liaison with clients to facilitate successful project execution.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within corporate policy.
• Monitor and control construction through the on-site Superintendent to meet schedule and budget.
• Evaluate progress and team performance to ensure timely project completion.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts and reporting.
• Identify potential legal issues and review with Branch Manager.
• Oversee project close-out and represent the company in meetings.
• Provide technical assistance to project team and identify new opportunities for sales.

The Position: We’re looking for an Estimator/Project manager to oversee projects for residential & commercial losses caused by fire, water, mold and natural disasters. This person will develop relationships to build and grow accounts and manage projects. This person will also oversee projects with the help from an assigned Construction Superintendent, from start to finish and manage contractors. We are seeking those with both sales and project management experience within disaster restoration ideally for commercial accounts and/or large loss.

The pay range we are offering for this position is $70,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on experience, that is eligible for annual and uncapped bonus.

Requirements

• In-person site inspections required - Position is NOTremote!
• Experience in restoration and construction
• Experience with Xactimate
• Ability to pay attention to details
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to travel out of town
• Pass background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Support and implement the Company’s Project Quality Planning and Control process.
• Initiate and maintain liaison with clients and contacts to facilitate successful project execution. This includes attending client-initiated meetings as well as maintaining contact to ensure their satisfaction with on-going projects for marketing purposes.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy.
• Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of the on-site Superintendent to ensure the project is built on schedule and within budget.
• Evaluate construction progress and team performance to ensure projects are built on schedule and within budget.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts reporting.
• Identify all potential legal problems and litigation for their projects and review them with the Branch Manager.
• Oversee completion of project close-out.
• Represent the company in project meetings.
• Provide technical assistance and support to all members of the project team.
• Identify new work opportunities and inform Sales and Marketing of potential projects with current clients.
• Actively leads an internal team(s) that focuses on continuous improvement of the business.
• Promote the growth and development of client, subcontractor and vendor relationships.
• Familiar with all Policies and Processes as it relates to this position.
• Proactively identify and solve problems to minimize risk.
