Job summary

ServiceMaster DSI is seeking an Estimator/Project Manager in Kingwood/Houston, TX. You will oversee residential and commercial losses from fire, water, mold, and disasters, developing relationships to grow accounts and managing projects with an on-site Superintendent support.

High emphasis on sales and large loss experience with a focus on client satisfaction. The role includes coordinating with contractors, driving project goals, and ensuring timelines and budgets are met.

Responsibilities

• Support and implement the Company’s Project Quality Planning and Control process.

• Communicate updates with customers and insurance representatives throughout the project.
• Establish project objectives, policies, and performance standards.
• Monitor construction progress and budget under on-site supervision.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts and reporting.
• Identify potential legal issues and coordinate with Branch Manager.
• Oversee project close-out and achieve outcomes with the team.

The Position:

We’re looking for an Estimator/Project manager to oversee projects for residential & commercial losses caused by fire, water, mold and natural disasters. This person will develop relationships to build and grow accounts and manage projects. This person will also oversee projects with the help from an assigned Construction Superintendent, from start to finish and manage contractors. We are seeking those with both sales and project management experience within disaster restoration ideally for commercial accounts and/or large loss.

The pay range we are offering for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on experience, that is eligible for annual and uncapped bonus.

Requirements:

• Experience in restoration and construction
• Experience with Xactimate
• Ability to pay attention to details
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to travel out of town
• Pass background check and drug screen

Responsibilities:

• Support and implement the Company’s Project Quality Planning and Control process.
• Participate in an on-call rotation as required.
• Initiate and maintain liaison with clients and contacts to facilitate successful project execution. This includes attending client-initiated meetings as well as maintaining contact to ensure their satisfaction with on-going projects for marketing purposes.
• Communicate updates and coordinate effectively with customers and insurance representatives throughout the project
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy.
• Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of the on-site Superintendent to ensure the project is built on schedule and within budget.
• Evaluate construction progress and team performance to ensure projects are built on schedule and within budget.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts reporting.
• Identify all potential legal problems and litigation for their projects and review them with the Branch Manager.
• Oversee completion of project close-out.
• Represent the company in project meetings.Work collaboratively as a team player and support team goals.
• Provide technical assistance and support to all members of the project team.
• Identify new work opportunities and inform Sales and Marketing of potential projects with current clients.
• Actively leads an internal team(s) that focuses on continuous improvement of the business.
• Promote the growth and development of client, subcontractor and vendor relationships.
• Familiar with all Policies and Processes as it relates to this position.
• Travel locally, as well as within and outside the state, as needed.
• Proactively identify and solve problems to minimize risk.
