Job summary

Klipboard is seeking a Project Manager to lead customer delivery engagements in Cary, NC. The role supports planning, governance, and delivery per Klipboard methodology and aims to meet customer outcomes.

You will coordinate projects, manage risks, and engage stakeholders while leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve governance and reporting. Hybrid work policy applies, with three days in office and two remote days.

Qualifications

• PMP or CAPM certification preferred.
• Excellent communication with users, teams, managers, and stakeholders.
• Experience managing multiple projects and delivering measurable value.
• Solid understanding of ERP systems and software implementations.
• Ability to document and baseline customer requirements via stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Monitor budgets, costs, billing milestones, and financial performance.
• Track milestones and status of project activities.
• Manage change requests per governance and processes.
• Organize, facilitate, and document project meetings.

• The Project Manager is responsible for managing customer delivery engagements and ensuring projects are planned, governed, and delivered in line with Klipboard methodology, commercial expectations, and customer outcomes. The role coordinates project activities, supports timely decision-making, and maintains effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Key outcomes for this role include predictable project delivery, strong customer confidence, accurate financial and status reporting, and effective risk and issue management.
• Use approved AI and automation tools, where appropriate, to streamline project administration, improve reporting insights, support governance compliance, and enable efficient delivery across the Project Management Office.
• Support project direction and outcomes by providing accurate information, practical recommendations, and timely escalation to enable informed decision-making.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
• Develop, maintain, and deliver project plans
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation
• Coordinate project resource requirements and work with resource managers to secure appropriate support
• Identify, track, report, and escape project risks and issues, and coordinate their resolution
• Coordinate the delivery, review, and approval of project deliverables
• Monitor project budgets, costs, billing milestones, and financial performance throughout implementation
• Monitor, track, and report project activities, milestones, and status
• Manage change requests in line with agreed governance and commercial processes
• Organize, facilitate, and document project meetings
• Maintain internal systems and project records as required
• Contribute to improvements in documentation and processes within METIS as required
• Deliver projects in accordance with Klipboard delivery methodology, governance, and quality standards
• Identify recurring delivery problems or sources of non-billable effort and raise them with the appropriate manager to support corrective action and continuous improvement
• Maintain high personal standards of project management, collaboration, and customer service
• Identify opportunities for business improvement and recommend updates to relevant processes, documents, and templates
• Provide reasonable project coverage for colleagues as directed

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

• Working knowledge of a recognized project management methodology; PMP, CAPM, or equivalent certification is preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with end users, project teams, managers, and customer stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and delivering measurable business value to customers
• Good understanding of ERP systems and software implementation projects
• Ability to document, agree upon, and baseline customer requirements through effective stakeholder engagement
• Attention to detail and thoroughness throughout the project life cycle
• Proficiency with project management tools
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications
• Proven project management experience, preferably in software implementation or professional services
