Job Title: Project Manager
Position Type: Full Time, Year-Round

Job Description:
- Facilitate and manage construction projects.
- Some bidding and estimating as needed.
- Assurance that all permits, including utility permits, are in place well ahead of time.
- Perform Subcontractor qualification (using standard forms) to assure they are fit for the job, financially stable, and will follow safety practices.
- Issuance of sub-contractor agreements in preparation of new project start-ups.
- Managing sub-contracts and budgets throughout the course of construction.
- Oversight of all project construction activity, material orders and deliveries, and subcontractor management.
- Budget management and accountability for each project-reporting any changes or potential changes to manager.
- All project financial management work to be done within Sage Construction Management and Sage 100
- Schedule creation and management for each project using Microsoft Project.
- Communication and coordination with Superintendent to ensure that we have necessary documentation (job logs & photos), quality control (inspections, field dimensional checks, etc), and timely material deliveries.
- High quality and consistent client interaction and communication to develop, and maintain confidence and longevity in our client relationships. Our #1 goal is that they refer us, and call us back again in the near future.
- Travel to project work sites for project walk-throughs, punch list creation, follow-up, and inspection, as necessary.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2 or 4-year degree in a related field preferred.
- Previous construction experience is highly valued.
- Strong communication skills - verbal and written.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills, experience with Excel, Outlook, Project, and Bluebeam a plus.
- Self-motivated, resourceful, strong work ethic, and willing to learn.
- Physical ability to: lift up to 50 pounds on occasion; bend; stoop; kneel; carry; reach (including overhead); endurance for walking, standing, and stairs; use hands and fingers to handle, manipulate, or control objects and tools; hear and communicate by telephone and in person; and have visual acuity to safely work and operate office equipment, computers, phones, printers, staplers, and other standard office equipment.
