Seeking a Project Manager to provide the project control and contract administration necessary to manage a high volume, multiple task processes for a large, diversified team so that the cost, schedule, and quality requirements are tracked, communicated to the Government, and ultimately attained while working closely with the Program Manager leading tasks. The Project Manager shall provide real-time monitoring of status/deliverables, tracking the quality of work products and gauging overall customer satisfaction. Specifically, the Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing contractor operations for Life Cycle Logistics (LCL) support of conventional ordnance weapons systems and components of the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) to be located near Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake in Ridgecrest, CA. NAWCWD is a key organization within the Naval Air Systems Command, dedicated to research, development, acquisition, testing, and evaluation of weapons and warfare systems for the U.S. Navy operating primarily in China Lake and Pt. Mugu, CA. China Lake is used primarily for testing guided missiles, advanced weapons, and weapons systems. Pt. Mugu is for electronic warfare expertise, supporting missile, free-fall weapons, and electronic warfare system testing. NAWCWD also emphasizes workforce development, employing thousands of scientists, engineers, and military personnel to maintain cutting-edge capabilities in areas such as hypersonics, directed energy, autonomy, quantum sciences, and cyber defense.
