Job summary

China Mobile International (USA) Inc. is seeking a Project Manager in Silicon Valley to monitor IP and transit networks and coordinate with our headquarters on network planning and infrastructure builds.

You will oversee monitoring tasks, support IP/Leased Line projects, and foster relationships with partners in the Americas region. The role requires strong English and Chinese communication, deep network technology knowledge, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset within a fast-moving telecom

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication/Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Professional knowledge of Cisco, Juniper and other network equipment.
• At least 5-year experience in related field.
• Self-motivated, detailed oriented, team-player with excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese writing and communication skills.
• Profound knowledge in related theories and methodologies.
• Professional knowledge of IP, transit network and network planning.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for IP and transit network monitoring and planning.
• Responsible for product improvement and coordinate of IP and Leased Line.
• Support IP and Leased line project providing solutions and delivery services for local team.
• Work with local team to build up relationship with partners and follow up the construction procedure for network infrastructure.
• Responsible for collecting and providing necessary information and report for the decision and procurement procedure.
• Responsible for troubleshooting and reconfiguration when possible network failure occurs.
• Cooperate and discuss with the headquarter about Americas Region network construction planning and promote specific network construction.
• Perform other tasks as requested by the supervisor.

Qualifications including deep understanding of IP and transit network; experience of building and configuring IP network; self-motivated; detail oriented; outstanding team-player; strong written & verbal communication skills are highly recommended.
