Job summary

Renewyx LLC in Sacramento, CA seeks an Education Project Manager (DSA) to lead K-12 and community college construction projects. You’ll own budgets and schedules, manage subs, and coordinate with districts, the architect, the inspector of record and DSA from approval through certification and closeout.

This permanent, full‑time role offers a base salary of $130,000 to $170,000 plus benefits, strong medical/dental coverage, and a robust 401(k) match.

Renewyx have partnered with a general contractor known across Northern California for K-12 and community college construction. They're adding an experienced Project Manager to their education team.

The role:

You’ll run your own school projects: new classroom buildings, gyms, modernizations and campus upgrades, often on campuses that are still open. You’ll own the budget and schedule, buy out and manage your subs, and work closely with the district, the architect, the inspector of record and DSA from approval through certification and closeout. A lot of the work comes through lease-leaseback and design-build, so you’ll be involved early.

What you’ll bring:

• You’ve been a Project Manager (or a Senior Project Engineer ready to step up) at a general contractor
• Hands-on DSA experience: you know the IOR, the DSA forms, and how change orders and closeout work on a school job
• You’re comfortable owning cost, schedule and subcontractors

Nice to have (bonus, not required):

• Lease-leaseback or design-build delivery
• Phasing work around students and staff
