Job summary

SAMCO Technologies Inc. in the Buffalo area is seeking a Project Manager to lead procurement and materials management for customer-driven manufacturing projects. You will coordinate vendor quotes, expedites, and document control while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires a high school diploma with 5+ years related experience, strong communication, and occasional travel. A mechanical background and proficiency with ERP systems are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, with 5 years related service experience.
• Mechanical knowledge / experience helpful including piping and process
• Good computer skills – demonstrate computer competency
• Excellent communication skills—verbal and written
• Willingness to occasionally travel / clean license

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager on projects including communications, schedule, cost review, and departmental liaison (Operations / Engineering / Fabrication).
• Monitor and maintain accurate material usage and project allocation.
• Project information / document management: emails, costs / quotes, schedule.
• Maintain SAGE100 system: item numbers, descriptions, parts usage, work tickets.
• Oversee and facilitate materials expediting; obtain / catalog vendor quotes.
• QA/QC oversight, monitoring and inspection management.
• Participate in meetings and special projects as required; follow other instructions.
