Job summary

Constellation West is seeking a disciplined project manager to support the J2 Knowledge Management team. You will help identify requirements, define project goals, and establish the scope of initiatives, ensuring alignment with DoD expectations.

Qualifications

  • Three or more years using project management tools and techniques such as Microsoft Project.
  • Three or more years using computer-based scheduling tools (e.g., OnePager).
  • Three or more years working with DoD customers and basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Three or more years producing deliverables and milestones within government or customer timelines.
  • Three or more years of PMBOK Guide – Seventh Edition knowledge (PMP desirable – not required).
  • Three or more years coordinating with multiple organizations and presenting project information to varying audiences, including senior leaders.
  • Three or more years of experience writing project requirement statements.

  • Work with KM customers through current business processes using various project management tools, noting areas of inefficiency, streamlining processes, and documenting the final outcome.
  • Assist the government in documenting projects, applications, and websites to provide clarity of the processes, workflows, and design elements.
  • Provide support to fully integrate MS Office products such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook with MS SharePoint.

Requirements
  • Three (3) or more years of experience with project management tools and techniques, including Microsoft Project and Microsoft Project Server.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience with computer‑based scheduling tools (e.g., OnePager).
  • Three (3) or more years of experience working with DoD customers and basic knowledge of computers and software such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience producing deliverables and milestones within the timelines indicated by the Government or customer.
  • Three (3) or more years of fundamental project management skills, as described in the PMBOK Guide – Seventh Edition (PMP desirable – not required).
  • Three (3) or more years of experience coordinating with multiple organizations and presenting project information to varying audiences, including senior leaders.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience writing project requirement statements.
