Job summary

StructureCare is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee all aspects of sales support and project management in the DC/MD/VA market. The role plans, develops, and directs projects to maximize profitability and exceed client expectations.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 2+ years of project management experience, preferably in concrete/restoration. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in engineering, construction management or related field.
• 2+ years of project management experience; concrete/restoration industry preferred.
• Knowledge of construction processes, equipment, drawings, specifications, materials and standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Client Service Manager to align vendor availability for project execution.
• Collaborate with Structural Engineers for scope, estimating, and technical issues on active projects.
• Solicit vendor pricing through preferred programs and vendor methods.
• Prepare and update project budgets, schedules, and construction plans.

The Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of sales support and project management for StructureCare working in the DC, MD, VA market. The position plans, develops, and directs all aspects of assigned projects to maximize profitability and exceed client’s expectations. This includes vendor management, proposal development and oversight of repair and restoration projects.

EXPERIENCE,TRAINING,AND/OREDUCATIONREQUIRED:

• Bachelor’sDegree(Engineering,ConstructionManagementorrelatedfield)
• 2ormoreyearsexperienceinProjectManagement.Concreteand/orrestorationindustryispreferred.
• Workingknowledgeoftheconstructionprocesses,equipment,techniques,drawings,specifications,buildingmaterialsandstandardsapplicabletodiscipline.
• Strongorganizationalskillsalongwithmeticulousattentiontodetail.

GENERALDESCRIPTION:

• Communicating with Client Service Manager’s (sales) to coordinate the availability of SC vendor network for execution of projects and potential projects.
• CommunicatingwithStructuralEngineersregardingscopedevelopment,estimatingofprojectsandalltechnicalquestions,concernsandissuesthatmayariseduringactiveprojects.
• SolicitingvendorpricingthroughSC’spreferredvendorprogramandmethods.
• Preparing,reviewing,andupdatingtheprojectbudget,schedule,constructionplanandconstructionprogress.
• ExecutionofsubcontractorStatementsofWorkandChangeOrdersasnecessary.
• Superviseallaspectsofsitelogisticsandsubcontractor(s)activityduringtheexecutionofprojectstoexceedcustomerrequirementsandexpectations.
• Overseeingtheprocurementofrequiredprojectmaterials.
• Reviewingandapprovingsubcontractorpaymentrequisitions.
• Preparingownerpaymentrequisitions.
• Workingwithcustomerstoresolveanyoutstandingissueswithinthescopeofthecontract.
• Attendingprojectmeetingsasrequired.
• Developing and enhancing customer relationships through the delivery of excellent service and problem-solving abilities.
