Job summary

Sabre Commercial, Inc. in Austin is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex construction projects from our local office.

You will coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and internal teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. This role requires a strong background in construction management, scheduling, risk assessment, and client relations, with a focus on quality, safety and profitability for Central Texas projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field is preferred, but not required.
• 5+ years of construction project management experience.
• Proficient in understanding building plans (civil, architectural, structural, plumbing, mechanical & electrical).
• Scheduling experience; proficient with construction scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Lead meetings with owner, architect, engineer, and internal team.
• Assess project risks and mitigate them.
• Manage project budget, revenues, costs, pay apps, and invoices.
• Evaluate change orders and pricing for changes.
• Lead buyout process and subcontracts.

Job Description

• Team Leader & Communicator: Organizes and leads meetings with owner, architect, engineer, other external parties and with internal project team.
• Risk Mitigator: Assesses each project's risks and works to mitigate or eliminate them.
• Budget Manager: Manages project budget (revenues & costs; pay applications & invoices).
• Change Order Processor: Evaluates cost changes / estimate pricing for changes.
• Buyout Leader: Leads buyout process / subcontracts (qualify and define).
• Business Developer: Develops client relations to support future work; seeks new opportunities.

Qualifications
