Doncasters is seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of aerospace-focused projects in Auburn, AL. You will align resources, budgets and timelines, manage stakeholders, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining standards.

The role requires strong project management skills, experience in manufacturing or aerospace, and excellent communication. Candidates with PMP certification are strongly preferred and experience with MS Word/Project, PowerPoint

The Role:

The Project Manager leads the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of projects from initiation through completion. This role is responsible for aligning resources, budgets, timelines, and project objectives while proactively monitoring progress, addressing challenges, and ensuring stakeholders remain informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle. The Project Manager serves as a central point of coordination, driving accountability and collaboration to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required standards.



  • Plan, organize and direct all activities as required for the full implementation of project goals and objectives

  • Ensure that project activities are consistent with the project objectives and that objectives can be met.

  • Ensure the project meets targets, budgets and time-lines, with appropriate reporting and evaluation

  • Develop, complete and finalize all project deliverables according to the timeline with the assistance of the Site Management Team.

  • Coordinate activities with Contractors, Vendors, Employees, and local and state authorities, equipment suppliers and local site management team.

  • Coordinate, participate, facilitate and take minutes at the Project Steering Committee meetings

  • Ensure timely preparation of information and other written Documents/material as required for implementation of project activities

  • Ensure and maintain effective and on-going communication with individuals and groups involved directly or indirectly in the project

  • Continually monitor the progress of the project

  • Conduct an orderly, systematic and incremental evaluation of the project

  • Update the Site Management team on a regular basis about the progress of the project
