Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Arlington, VA to lead planning, execution, and monitoring of multiple GSM-O II contracts for DISA, ensuring on-time, within-scope, and on-budget delivery using Agile methods.

The role requires DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, a 4–8 year track record, and strong communication and leadership skills. Expect engagement with senior leadership and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead Product Owner Synchronization meetings to ensure strategic alignment, clarify requirements, and resolve competing priorities.
• Monitor, track, and drive resolution of project action items, risks, and issues, ensuring timely escalation and communication to stakeholders.
• Identify, evaluate, and resolve complex project-related challenges, leveraging advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Drive process improvement initiatives, identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions to optimize project execution and organizational impact.
• Oversee the management of project artifacts, documentation, and deliverables, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements (including CDRLs), quality standards, and regulatory obligations.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate integrated project schedules, tracking progress, dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Lead project budget management, financial tracking, and resource allocation to ensure fiscal responsibility and alignment with business objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and executive leadership.
• Ensure project execution in compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and industry standards.
• Oversee staffing actions, talent acquisition, onboarding, and workforce planning in collaboration with managers and HR.
• Synthesize and present complex data, insights, and recommendations to executive audiences using advanced project management tools and Microsoft Office suite.

Position Overview: The Senior Project Manager supports the planning, execution, and monitoring of multiple, simultaneous projects within the GSM-O II contract supporting DISA. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget, while adhering to Agile methodologies and relevant policies.
