Job summary

OC Environmental Services, LLC seeks an Environmental Project Manager with 10+ years of experience in restoration/remediation projects, preferably with USACE or other government agencies. You will oversee scoping, proposals, budgets, planning, scheduling, execution and reporting to ensure deliverables meet scope and budget.

You will lead a team, manage client relationships, supervise staff and contractors, and promote the company HSE program across multiple projects in Alaska.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor/BS or BA in science or engineering (experience may substitute)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Ten or more years in environmental restoration/remediation leadership
  • 3–5 years government contracting experience
  • Experience with Alaska Native 8(a) Corporations preferred

Responsibilities

  • Plan and oversee environmental projects from initiation through closeout
  • Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget
  • Manage changes to scope, schedule, and costs with proper verification
  • Supervise project staff and company employees
  • Oversee project contractors and services
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties for seamless execution
  • Implement, monitor, and report on the HSE program
  • Other duties as assigned

Job description

OC Environmental Services, LLC, a certified 8(a) company, is seeking an Environmental Project Manager with 10+ years of experience in environmental restoration projects, preferably for United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) or other federal and state government agencies. The Project Manager oversees all aspects of environmental projects to include scoping, proposal development, budget, planning, scheduling, implementation, and reporting. The Project Manager works directly with clients to ensure deliverables are within the applicable scope and budget. The Project Manager will promote high standards and the company health, safety, and environmental (HSE) program.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the planning and execution of company projects.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Manage change to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Supervise project staff and company employees.
  • Oversee project contractors and services.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects
  • Responsible for implementing, monitoring, and reporting on the company’s HSE program.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience
  • Must have 3-5 years of Government contracting experience.
  • Must have 10 years of experience in environmental restoration or remediation projects at the supervisor or manager level.
  • Previous experience working with Alaska Native 8 (a) Corporations.
Education & Certifications
  • BS or BA in a science or engineering field (experience may be substituted for the education requirement)
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft office products, including Excel.
