Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Project Management Support SME to help oversee IT program portfolios and guide strategic priorities across the Intel Sector Analysis Solutions Business Area. The role requires senior-level experience delivering actionable insights and collaborating with diverse teams and external partners.

The position emphasizes strong writing, clear communication, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for executives, while supporting risk assessments and roadmap

Qualifications

• BA degree required with 12–15 years of prior relevant experience or Master’s with 10–13 years of prior relevant experience.
• Draft products that reflect strong writing and grammatical skills.
• Knowledge of portfolio, program, and project management discipline.
• Familiarity with planning, programming, budgeting, and execution discipline.
• Knowledge of key performance indicators.
• Strong analytical competence and organizational skills; provide audience-appropriate written and verbal communications.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Management Experience - Monitor and analyze IT portfolio of programs and their associated capabilities and Services.
• Strategic Planning Experience - support the evolution of the Sponsor’s strategic direction and priorities.
• Make recommendations to aid sponsor decision-making, including proposed strategies and roadmaps; identified risks, capability and performance gaps, dependencies; alignment with the strategic framework and priorities; and funding and related program issues.
• Assist government clients with programmatic goals and objectives, schedules, and reports to the senior-level executives.
• Communicate technical topics in a non-technical manner to senior-level audiences.
• Extensive experience in collaboration across multiple entities.
• Experience working with partners outside the US.

Responsibilities Include:

Basic Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
• Typically requires a BA degree and 12 - 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 - 13 years of prior relevant experience.

• Knowledge of portfolio, program, and project management discipline.
• Familiarity with planning, programing, Budgeting, and execution discipline.
• Knowledge of key performance indicators.
• Strong analytical competence, problem-solving, communication and organizational skills Provide audience-appropriate written and verbal communications and demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Work with seniors in diverse, fast-paced, multi-task environment managing competing priorities.
• Produce deliverables in multiple formats as needed (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Ability to take charge of a group and set strategic guidance for a team of SMEs.
