Job description

Overview

Project Management Specialist responsible for supporting Commercial Helicopter Operators and Channel partners located in North America. Position will be responsible for managing and directing entry into service, product support and aftermarket fleet management disciplines and activities. In addition, will coordinate with Honeywell D&S Customer Business Leaders (CBLs) for aftermarket activities and objectives to ensure that our customers and platform-wide products are supported in an efficient and effective manner. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Plan, manage and support in-service SRD field campaigns to ensure smooth and effective rollout of product improvements and technical fixes.
  • Support VOC Go-Green initiatives to ensure customer disatisfiers are resolved via active program management using the SFDC Service Request (SR) process.
  • Support support Entry Into Service (EIS) programs relative to release new Honeywell products and/or product improvements.
  • Support planning and execution for the annual Helicopter Operator Conference (HOC) and other regional Operator Conferences.
  • Own and manage the AG-5433, D&S Channel Partner process document, to include periodic updates, organizational training and communication to ensure process adherence.
  • D&S focal for Avionic Dealer Network, maintaining a database of entire network and current dealer agreements.
  • Support marketing and proposal development efforts relative to product line growth initiatives.
  • Provide support interface with engineering disciplines, program management and customers on full range of model specific issues including technical, logistic, program and business issues.
  • Champion customer concerns and product support issues by utilizing Service Request process to ensure customer issue resolution.
  • Drive process improvement and lean programs by leading and/or supporting process improvements and scheduled work.
  • Accountable for key program management metrics including Voice of the Customer (VOC), SR TAT/on-time closure.

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering plus a minimum of 4 years of directly related experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong Program Management skills and experience with emphasis on Customer and Product Support related issues is required.
  • Ability to support Product Support Agreements and understanding of Customer support principles is required.
  • Ability to work in an independent fashion with limited guidance is required.
  • Ability to coordinate the support/logistics elements on assigned programs with internal/external customers/suppliers.
  • Strong and proven team player.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aerospace product background and knowledge is desired.
  • Previous experience with field/customer support engineering, repair and overhaul or project engineering is desired.
  • Ability to solve problems and recommend/implement changes in Product Support processes to improve productivity.
  • Sound written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong PC skills including MS Project, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Proficient in use of earned value and finance management tools and techniques (EMIS reports, EV, AOP).
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification is desired.
  • Green Belt Certification required.
