Project Management Engineer III manages and performs engineering work for major design projects with little or no supervision at the Florida Department of Transportation's District Four office in Fort Lauderdale. The role involves coordinating complex multi-disciplinary transportation projects including highway capacity improvements, transit hubs, and intelligent transportation systems, while advising other project managers and consultant firms on technical and contractual matters.
