Job summary

HII Mission Technologies at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH is seeking an Acquisition Program Manager Analyst to provide full-range program management support in accordance with DoD and AF guidance, advancing the propulsion Directorate's initiatives.

The candidate will lead planning, execution, and control of acquisition programs, require DoD acquisition experience, TS/SCI eligible, and ability to work in a dynamic team environment, with security-clearance requirements and salary range stated.

Qualifications

• Active SECRET clearance with ability to obtain TOP SECRET with SCI (TS/SCI).
• 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field, four of those years must be in DoD Acquisition Programs; or eight years relevant experience with Masters in related field, three of those years must be in DoD Acquisition Programs; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience, eight of those years must be in DoD Acquisition Programs
• Broad knowledge and demonstrated application of DoD and Air Force program management policies and procedures on an ACAT Ill or higher modification program on a major weapon system
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Job Description

HII Mission Technologies has an immediate opportunity for an Acquisition Program Manager Analyst supporting the Propulsion Directorate at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH. The candidate will provide a full range of program management support in accordance with DoDD 5000.01, Defense Acquisition System, DoDI 5000.02, Adaptive Acquisition Framework, and AFI 63-101/20-101, Integrated Life Cycle Management guidance and will serve as an adviser to government personnel. Duties will include planning, executing, and controlling acquisition programs through all phases of the acquisition lifecycle.

The ideal candidate for this position is self-motivated, possesses broad U.S. Air Force acquisition experience, is comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative work environment, and can identify and prioritize necessary tasks/activities to ensure program and organizational success.

Assist in the development of:

• Documentation of acquisition strategies
• Program documentation as identified in AFI 63-101/20-101, Integrated Life Cycle Management
• Statements of Work or Performance Work Statements and other Request for Proposal documents
• Technical evaluation of program proposals

Minimum Qualifications

• Comprehensive experience developing and maintaining spreadsheets for tracking and analysis

Desired Technical Experience

• Knowledge of:
  • Propulsion systems in support of subsystem definition, development, integration, and testing
  • Requirements development and verification methods to include review of ICD, sustainment, T&E, system architectures, and airworthiness certification across a wide range of hardware and software systems
  • Policies and practices of systems acquisition and program management as defined in Department of Defense Instruction 5000.02 and Air Force Instruction 63-101/20-101
• Experience with:
  • Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO) development and validation
  • Reviewing and/or developing AF Form 1067 (Modification Proposals)
  • Fielding new and updated aircraft systems

Physical Requirements

May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
