Job summary

Jobtailor in Illinois is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to oversee diverse projects from conception through completion, ensuring safety, scope, cost, forecasting, and scheduling.

You will lead cross-functional teams, develop detailed plans with timelines and budgets, and collaborate with manufacturing, QA, and external partners to deliver on time and within budget. Travel up to 50% is required and a strong technical background in engineering is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in food manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or consumer packaged goods manufacturing
  • Experience delivering complex engineering projects valued at one million dollars or greater
  • Strong technical understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects across multiple locations
  • Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing outcomes across a matrixed organization
  • Willingness to travel approximately fifty percent based on project requirements

Responsibilities

  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation across engineering projects and project teams
