Job summary

Veolia North American is seeking a Project Leader to run the Town of Southern Pines water treatment plant. You will ensure daily operations meet state and federal drinking water standards, and supervise the operational team to maintain quality and reliability.

Responsibilities include managing contract obligations and client relations, developing practical solutions to project issues, and guaranteeing delivery on time and within budget while aligning with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• A degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Project Management, or related field is strongly preferred but not required.
• 5 years experience in water treatment plant operation
• NC A-surface water certification
• 6 years of leadership experience, 4 leading project teams, with focus on collaboration and delivery

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of the water treatment plant and ensure compliance with state and federal standards.
• Supervise the operational team and manage contract obligations and client relations.
• Develop and implement creative, practical solutions to project issues and risks.

Project Leader and Water Treatment Plant ORC

Veolia North American is seeking an individual to be the project leader for the operation of the Town of Southern Pines water treatment plant. The individual will be responsible for ensuring the daily operation of the water treatment plant meets state and federal standards for safe drinking water, supervising the operational team, managing contract obligations and client relations, developing and implementing creative, practical solutions to overcome project-related issues and drive successful outcomes, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and timely delivery within budget assignments.
