Role Description

The Project Leader oversees architectural projects from planning through construction, working closely with project teams and consultants, coordinating project requirements, maintaining quality standards and client relationships, and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in delivering projects on schedule and within budget by coordinating project teams, consultants, and day-to-day project needs.
• Contribute to all phases of architectural design and documentation (programming, design development, presentations, renderings, code research, and construction documents), while upholding zoning requirements, building codes, accessibility standards, project specifications, and firm standards.
• Support construction administration (bidding, RFIs, submittals, field observations, project meetings, and punch list reviews), while coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve issues and ensure successful project delivery in alignment with the design intent.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture; 5+ years of experience in the design and/or architecture industry
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, project teams, and firm leadership.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, assignments, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Experience leading multifamily, residential, commercial, mixed-use, or similar architectural projects through bidding and construction administration.
• Advanced knowledge of Revit and Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards
• Strong background in construction documentation and multidisciplinary consultant coordination.

• Approx. 40 hours per week
• Based on project requirements

*Regional and occasional national travel may be required. Business-related travel is covered in accordance with the firm’s standard travel policy.

• Salary & PTO – determined based on candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
