Job summary

IES Communications, LLC. seeks a Project Lead - Security Systems to act as on-site coordinator and crew lead for installation of card access, CCTV, CATV and intrusion systems. You will ensure quality and safety while maintaining staff efficiency on the project site in Arizona.

You will supervise crew leads, train staff, and coordinate with the project manager to meet productivity and budget goals. Will handle all required on-site paperwork and act as primary customer contact.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise several Crew Leads – Security Systems and train staff; ensure safety and quality guidelines.
  • Coordinate with SS Project Manager to ensure productivity, job completion and budget compliance.
  • Complete all project paperwork on time (timesheets, work orders, change orders, tool transfers, etc.).
  • Serve as main on-site customer contact and attend meetings as required.
  • Demonstrate technical knowledge of card access, CCTV, CATV and intrusion systems; troubleshoot issues.

Job Summary

The Project Lead - Security Systems will act as the on-site coordinator and crew lead supervisor for program and installation of Security Systems (Card Access, CCTV, CATV and Intrusion systems) per manufacturer requirements and engineered drawings. The Project Lead - Security Systems’s task will be to ensure job completion according to company and customer quality and safety requirements while maintaining the efficiency of the staff assigned to the project.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  1. The Project Lead - Security Systems will consistently supervise several Crew Leads – Security Systems, assume responsibility for effective performance and provide necessary training, assume responsibility for adherence to Company and customer safety and quality guidelines and hold weekly safety meetings, initiate performance related communications and elevate to Security Systems Project Manager if necessary.
  2. The Project Lead - Security Systems coordinates with SS Project Manager to ensure productivity, job completion and compliance with project budget.
  3. The Project Lead - Security Systems fully completes all IES COMMUNICATIONS, LLC. and project paperwork accurately and on time (specifically timesheets, material transfers, work orders, change orders, tool transfers and others as required).
  4. The Project Lead - Security Systems serves as main on-site customer contact for questions and/or concerns; attend facility and constructions meetings when required.
  5. The Project Lead - Security Systems performs work consistently demonstrating a detailed level of technical knowledge of card access, CCTV, CATV and intrusion systems; troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
  6. The Project Lead - Security Systems will complete other responsibilities as assigned.

Min: USD $35.00/Hr. Max: USD $45.00/Hr.

Qualifications
Physical and Mental Requirements
  • The Project Lead - Security Systems must be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional and help create, develop and implement project process improvement(s).
  • The Project Lead - Security Systems must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners.
  • The Project Lead - Security Systems must be able to act as the Company liaison for interface with customer representative(s).
  • The Project Lead - Security Systems must possess proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively read, write and give oral presentation(s).
  • Must be able to stand and walk very large job sites regularly.
  • The Project Lead - Security Systems must be able to work at heights, off of a ladder and in confined spaces, lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds.
  • The Project Lead - Security Systems must be able to see and distinguish different colors, read small print and hear and recognize audible signals such as dial tones.
  • The Project Lead - Security Systems must be able to travel within the branch territory and/or regional territory as needed.
  • Regular attendance is mandatory

  • Tools: Tools: Basic Hand Tools: screwdriver – all sizes (regular and Phillips,), drywall saw, torpedo level, tape measure, snips (with belt sheath), pliers (adjustable, needle nose, lineman), hammer, cable stripper, insulated crimping tool, flashlight and gloves. Multimeter, butt-set, toner/wand, coax compression and/or hex crimp tool.
