Job description

Project Lead (Aerospace)

We’re looking for a driven and collaborative Program Manager to lead key projects, build strong client relationships, and support the development of high-performing teams. In this role, you’ll oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring that quality standards are consistently met. You’ll also serve as the primary point of contact for customers while mentoring and guiding your team to success.

What You’ll Do:
  • Manage assigned programs to ensure they’re completed on time, within budget, and to spec
  • Interpret and communicate government contract requirements internally and externally
  • Create, maintain, and revise project plans, schedules, and specifications
  • Serve as the key point-of-contact for customers and build strong, professional relationships
  • Lead and mentor team members, offering coaching and support to drive growth and performance
  • Identify and coordinate staff training needs for project success
  • Provide regular project updates to management and stakeholders
  • Contribute to proposals and budgeting for new projects
  • Occasionally travel to customer sites for meetings, updates, or validations
  • Support provisioning and technical manual production as needed (bonus if you’ve done this before)
  • Ensure work is performed safely and efficiently, addressing issues proactively
  • (Bonus) Experience with Logistics Support Analysis (LSA)
Work Environment:
  • You’ll be based on-site (we know, we know), but the vibe is good and the snacks are decent
  • Occasional travel for meetings, site visits, and some face-to-face bonding
  • Full-time with the usual deadlines—sometimes things get spicy, but you’ve got backup
Benefits:
  • Flexible scheduling (life happens—we get it)
  • Unlimited PTO (yes, really)
  • Hybrid work setting—subject to policy updates
  • Health/Dental/Vision Insurance with a sweet company allowance
  • Retirement plan (401K) + we’re an ESOP company = Employee-Owned = You're basically a boss
What You May Have Done in the Past:
  • Led complex, technical, or government projects
  • Managed and developed a high-performing team
  • Worked in Aerospace, Defense, or a similarly structured industry
  • Collaborated with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
