Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a seasoned leader to head the Community Medical Liaison program in support of Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine and Neuroscience. You will be the key project leader, managing relationships with IQVIA and J&J stakeholders to drive strategic execution and contract objectives.

You will oversee program planning, scheduling, risk mitigation, and performance metrics, while coaching field-based teams and ensuring compliance and high-quality clinical education delivery.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a healthcare field is required.
• Minimum 7–10 years of relevant healthcare or field leadership experience.
• Experience leading complex client-facing projects or field-based programs is preferred.
• Prior people leadership experience is required (coaching, mentoring, performance management).
• Strong knowledge of neuroscience and behavioral health is preferred.

Job description

• Lead the overall IQVIA Community Medical Liaison program supporting Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, Neuroscience, ensuring successful delivery of contractual objectives, operational expectations, and program performance goals
• Serve as the primary project leader and key relationship manager for IQVIA and Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine stakeholders
• Partner with Johnson & Johnson Medical Affairs, Marketing, Sales Leadership, Advocacy, Strategic Customer Group, Business Development, and other cross-functional partners to develop and execute short- and long-term CML strategy
• Own program planning and operational oversight, including project timelines, deliverables, performance tracking, reporting, issue resolution, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement efforts
• Conduct field visits and coaching sessions with CML Managers and/or CMLs to reinforce program expectations, strengthen clinical and educational execution, support compliance, and model best practices

Requirements

• Master’s degree required in social work, mental health counseling, psychology, nursing, public health, health sciences, or a related healthcare field
• Minimum of seven to ten years of relevant healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical affairs, field leadership, clinical education, social work, behavioral health, or related experience
• Prior people leadership experience required, including coaching, mentoring, performance management, hiring, onboarding, and development of field-based teams
• Experience leading complex client-facing projects, contract teams, cross-functional initiatives, or field-based healthcare programs strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of neuroscience, behavioral health, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, mood disorders, patient/caregiver education, treatment team education, and healthcare delivery systems preferred
• Valid driver’s license required.
