About The Role

Under the direction of designated project leadership, the successful candidate will lead and engage with clients and teams to deliver services that creatively solve problems, working with a high degree of latitude on a healthcare facility project at Mayo Clinic’s campus in Rochester, MN.

Here’s What You’ll Do
  • Provide leadership to the client and project team in establishing project goals and vision.
  • Lead interior design efforts across multiple projects.
  • Develop design concepts through all project phases.
  • Evaluate client needs, analyze, and document design objectives and spatial requirements.
  • Lead the interior design approach within the project team.
  • Coordinate project design work and ensure code compliance.
  • Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and other consultants.
  • Review drawings and support functions to meet project constraints.
  • Oversee design visualization productions.
  • Assist in project planning, work plan development, and budgeting.
  • Develop work schedules for interior design components.
  • Participate in client meetings and maintain positive relations.
  • Enforce interior design standards across all project phases.
  • Lead development of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE).
  • Coordinate specifications and vendor consultations.
  • Mentor less experienced staff.
  • Participate in marketing activities like proposals and interviews.
  • Engage in construction administration activities, including site visits and review of submittals.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Here’s What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture.
  • At least 8 years of related experience.
  • NCIDQ certification preferred.
  • Proven leadership across multiple projects.
  • Strong design, storytelling, technical skills, and knowledge of safety codes.
  • Excellent presentation, organizational, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Experience leading high-performing teams preferred.
  • Critical and analytical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Professional business attire for client meetings.
  • Willingness to travel.

The salary range is $81,700 to $102,398 annually, with potential bonuses and benefits including health coverage, flexible spending, paid time off, remote options, and a 401k plan. Actual compensation varies based on location, experience, and skills. For more details, visit our benefits page.
