Job description

My client is an international bank seeking to hire a Renewable Energy Portfolio Management VP (open to Associate level) to join their global team.

This role, based in Midtown NYC with a hybrid work model (2-3 days in-office), will be part of the front-office team, combining portfolio management responsibilities with supporting the structuring of renewable energy project finance portfolios alongside Client Advisors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project finance or renewables credit, with approximately 4 years (Associate) or 6+ years (VP) of experience. The portfolio primarily involves wind, solar, renewables, and battery energy storage projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Analyzing credit mitigation trends of the portfolio and individual clients
  2. Generating ideas for cross-selling or client opportunities
  3. Conducting quarterly and annual credit reviews
  4. Managing process amendments, waivers, and credit modifications
  5. Assessing and recommending actions on amendment/consent/waiver requests, including legal documentation follow-up
