Job summary

Highland Electric Fleets is seeking a finance-focused professional with at least 2 years in infrastructure, transportation, or renewables/power finance. The role emphasizes financial modeling, strong Excel skills, and the use of AI productivity tools to streamline workflows.

The ideal candidate has experience in project finance, asset-backed finance, M&A or related fields, and a solid grasp of NPV, IRR, MOIC, and financial statements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in Infrastructure, Transportation, or Renewables/Power, finance, or capital markets.
• Proficiency with AI productivity tools, such as Claude, to support workflows and drive efficiency.
• Experience in project finance, asset-backed finance, M&A, investment banking, municipal finance, project underwriting, real estate, energy, insurance, private equity or venture capital.
• Understanding of return metrics, including NPV, IRR, MOIC.
• Basic knowledge of accounting and financial statements.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
• Ability to present complex information succinctly to audiences internal and external.
• High attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders on tight timelines.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years in Infrastructure, Transportation, or Renewables/Power, finance, or capital markets
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel, including experience with financial modeling
• Proficiency with AI productively tools, such as Claude, to support workflows and drive efficiency
• Work and prior transactional experience in project finance, asset-backed finance, M&A, investment banking, municipal finance, project underwriting, real estate, energy, insurance, private equity or venture capital
• Understanding of return metrics, including NPV, IRR, MOIC
• Basic knowledge of accounting and financial statements
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
