Job summary

Hargrove and Associates, Inc is seeking a skilled Supply Chain professional focused on project expediting to ensure milestone dates are met and to manage vendor data, fabrication status, and shipping information.

You will develop expediting plans, interpret schedules, and coordinate with suppliers and fabricators to meet delivery commitments while maintaining strong client communications.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in Supply Chain Management, specifically in Project Expediting.
  • Knowledge and application of company standards.
  • Ability to organize effectively.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Ability to negotiate with suppliers.
  • Working knowledge of INCOTERMS.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

Job Scope: Generally responsible for working with suppliers and fabricators to ensure milestone dates are met in support of the overall project and construction schedule. Responsibilities also include reporting vendor data status, fabrication status, recovery plans, and shipping information to the project team and the end user. Some travel for shop surveillance may be required.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Familiarity with and utilization of department standards.
  • Developing and maintaining supplier/contractor relationships.
  • Interpreting project schedules and fabrication schedules.
  • Developing expediting plans for the tracking of vendor data and materials.
  • Working with suppliers and fabricators to ensure adherence to contractual delivery dates.
  • Communicating status of vendor data and equipment to the Project Team and Client.
Ideal Background Education

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Certification

Certification is not required for this position.

Experience

This position requires at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in Supply Chain Management, specifically in Project Expediting.
