A leading homebuilder is looking for a high-level Project Manager in Shell Beach, California. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in commercial construction and at least 10 years in project management, overseeing multifamily and tract home developments. Responsibilities include managing budgets, schedules, and relationships with stakeholders, as well as navigating governmental processes and supervising project teams. This role offers a competitive salary range of $200,000 to $250,000 per year.

Overview

Longstanding homebuilder and multifamily developer with over 3,800 homes built throughout the Central Coast to date now hiring for a high-level Project Management professional.

Salary: $200,000 - $250,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Creating and maintaining project budgets and schedules
• Bidding-out projects and awarding/managing contracts
• Managing project stakeholder expectations and relationships
• Navigating various authorities having jurisdiction to secure entitlements, permits, certificates of occupancy, etc.
• Managing consultant teams (architects and engineers) through design development and construction
• Supervising development projects through the entire project lifecycle, from acquisition through final close-out of construction and sales of finished product.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field of study
• 15+ years of commercial construction experience at a General Contractor
• A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project Manager supervising project teams
• Extensive experience with 100+ unit tract home and multifamily/mixed-use developments (experience with podium, slab-on-grade, and a wider range of single-family home types is strongly preferred)
• Direct experience working with governmental agencies, permitting, and development approvals
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and land entitlement processes
• Able to develop accurate project estimates and pricing reports
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management, Estimating, & Scheduling Software
