Job summary

Mortenson Construction in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Project Executive I to provide overall management for large projects, lead the project team, and ensure strong customer relations. This role requires interaction across staff levels in a dynamic environment with professionalism and confidentiality.

The successful candidate will drive project oversight, budgeting, contract administration, and value delivery, while mentoring the project team and supporting business development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent field.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in construction management overseeing large projects.
• Proven ability to fulfill development to closeout responsibilities for multiple, complex projects.
• Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks.
• Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices.
• Microsoft Office, project, and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level.
• Proven positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skills.
• Current driver's license.

• Ability to travel up 50-75%

SUMMARY

Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Project Executive I who is responsible for

providing overall management for large projects, leading the project team, and ensuring key and successful customer relations, as well as assisting operating groups with winning work. This individual will have the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

The base pay range for this role is $168,100 - $252,200. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
