ATALNT is seeking an experienced Project Executive to provide executive-level leadership across major construction projects in San Diego. You will oversee project teams, drive financial performance, manage key client relationships, and support pursuits to expand the company’s presence in the San Diego market.

The role requires 15+ years in construction with a track record leading complex commercial projects, strong financial management skills, and the ability to build high-performing teams.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive construction experience.
  • Experience as a Project Executive, Senior Project Manager, Operations Leader, or similar role.
  • Strong relationships within the San Diego construction market.
  • Experience leading large, complex commercial construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of project financials, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Experience with Lump Sum, GMP, Negotiated, Design-Build, and Hard Bid delivery methods.
  • Strong preconstruction, estimating, constructability, and value engineering experience.
  • Experience with public sector, healthcare, higher education, civic, municipal, or infrastructure projects preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
  • Ability to build and lead high-performing project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive oversight throughout all phases of construction projects.
  • Lead project teams and maintain accountability for project success.
  • Serve as a key relationship leader for owners, architects, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Support project pursuits, proposals, and client interviews.
  • Manage project financial performance, forecasting, cost control, and profitability.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Lead preconstruction strategy, constructability reviews, and value engineering efforts.
  • Build and maintain relationships within the San Diego construction market.
  • Support business development and market expansion initiatives.
  • Coach and develop project management teams.
  • Ensure projects meet quality, schedule, budget, and client expectations.
  • Promote safety standards and company procedures.
