Job summary

Gaylor Electric seeks a Project Executive to lead large-scale electrical construction programs, from planning through closeout, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and budget control on mission-critical projects.

The ideal candidate has a 10+ year PM track record in electrical systems, data centers, or similar, with PMP preferred and proficiency in MS Project/Primavera and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on electrical systems, data center, or mission critical work. Managing jobs greater than $50 million.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera), AutoCAD, and electrical design tools.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a proven track record of successfully leading large-scale construction projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of construction projects from inception to completion, including planning, design, execution, monitoring, and closing.
• Ensure the integration and implementation of electrical systems meet project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
• Supervise and coordinate the efforts of project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
• Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.
• Ensure all project activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
