Composite Factory is seeking a Project Estimator/Analyst who will collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing to build quotes for parts, tools, and related costs to meet customer requests.

The role involves gathering data, constructing bottom-up estimates, and assisting with cost tracking as projects proceed into production.

Qualifications

• :High school diploma or GED required.
• :1-2 years manufacturing cost accounting exposure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize work independently.
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident in compliance with ITAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review RFQs with Engineering and Senior Project Analyst to ensure all project requirements are understood.
• Develop bottom-up cost estimates by concurrently working with Engineering and Manufacturing departments.
• Ensure material costs, labor rates, and all other job costs are accurate on quote sheets.
• Communicate routinely with customers, vendors, and department leads to help gather information required for project costs.
• Assist Purchasing and Planning departments with quoted estimate information once an order has been received.
• Review, maintain and organize open quote list.
• Review and monitor project actuals to analyze quoting accuracy.
• Support senior management with insights and data regarding actual project costs.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Position Overview:

The Project Estimator/Analyst will work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing departments to create project quotes for parts, tools, and any other costs that are required to meet customer requests. This role will gather data and put together cost estimates to provide to the Senior Project Analyst. This role will also provide support by gathering data and understanding real costs once projects begin production.

What You Will Bring to the Team:

• High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required.
• Minimum 1-2 years of manufacturing experience with exposure to cost accounting methods.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software products.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize work independently.
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident in compliance with ITAR regulations.

Hours of Operation:

7:00 AM – 4:00 PM; Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends, overtime, and holidays as scheduled by leadership.
