Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an on-site Project Estimator to support pricing for construction projects across retail, healthcare, and municipal sectors in Greensboro, NC. The role focuses on quantity takeoffs, budgeting, GMP development, and cost analysis to inform preconstruction decisions.

Responsibilities include reviewing documents, evaluating subcontractor bids, identifying cost risks, and coordinating site visits and interviews.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating.
• Experience with Bluebeam, Sage, Excel, or similar estimating system.
• Strong cost analysis experience.
• Must be able to pass a government background check.

Zachary Piper Solutions is hiring a Project Estimator to support pricing for construction projects for retail, hospital, and municipality customers on-site in Greensboro, NC.

Responsibilities of the Project Estimator:

• Manage quantity takeoffs, estimation, GMP development, and cost analysis
• Review project documents, develop budgets, pricing, evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals during preconstruction process
• Identify potential project risks, opportunities, and cost impacts with subcontractors and suppliers
• Participate in pre-bod meetings, site visits, and project interviews

Compensation of the Project Estimator:

• Salary Range: 80k-100k
