Must Haves
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an estimator/scheduler in commercial or general construction
- Experience with design-build methodology
- Knowledge of PEMB (Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings), ideally Butler-type systems
- Proficiency with estimating, takeoff, and scheduling software (e.g., Timberline, On-Screen Takeoff, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project)
- Valid driver’s license with ability to travel domestically
- High school diploma or GED required

About the Role
Seeking a driven and detail-focused Project Estimator to lead cost estimating, scheduling, contractor/vendor coordination, budget tracking, and risk mitigation across multiple private-sector construction projects. This position works closely with operational leadership from early planning through project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates by reviewing plans, drawings, and documentation
- Perform quantity takeoffs for materials, labor, and equipment
- Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate bids from subcontractors and suppliers
- Maintain cost historical records to support future estimating
- Develop project schedules using industry-standard scheduling tools
- Track critical path and identify potential delays, risks, and recovery options
- Coordinate procurement and delivery of equipment and materials
- Complete and submit Schedule of Values
- Work with architects, engineers, and field personnel to align cost, scope, and schedule
- Monitor budget, schedule execution, quality, and technical performance
- Support design review processes and assist in drawing interpretations
- Collaborate with clients in a professional and solutions-focused manner

Oversight

Hours
May require flexibility depending on project schedules and site activity.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- OSHA-30, municipal permitting familiarity, and prior project leadership beneficial
- Knowledge of Butler-style PEMB systems highly valued
