Leoforce is seeking an experienced Estimator/Project Manager in the Los Angeles area to plan and budget complex projects with a focus on fire protection systems. The role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration with engineers and contractors, and strong estimation discipline.

The successful candidate will bring 5+ years of construction estimation experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and Bluebeam, and a deep understanding of fire sprinkler system design to drive cost-effective outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction estimation.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Bluebeam and other relevant software.
• Extensive knowledge of fire protection, specifically Fire Sprinkler System Design.
• Strong skills in project estimation and budgeting.
• Proven ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and time requirements.
• Analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Conducting risk analysis and providing strategies to mitigate potential challenges.
• Collaborating with Engineers, Architects, Clients, Contractors, and Subcontractors on project cost estimates.
• Utilizing specialized software (AutoCAD, Bluebeam) for the preparation of estimates.
• Designing and estimating fire protection systems, specifically Fire Sprinkler System Design.
• Reviewing material and labor requirements to decide whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components.
• Preparing and maintaining a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Preparing reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends, and appropriate recommendations or conclusions.

Experience: Senior Level

Salary: $95,000 - $125,000 per year

Responsibilities

A range of critical tasks, including but not limited to:

• Preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and time requirements.


• Analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
