Linde Engineering Americas is seeking a senior Project Engineer/Engineering Lead with extensive LNG and industrial gas experience to drive engineering, procurement and construction efforts across global teams.

Responsibilities include leading engineering proposals, coordinating with clients and suppliers, and ensuring design quality, safety, and timely delivery across multi-disciplinary scopes.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 15+ years in LNG, Natural Gas, Refining, Petrochemicals, or Industrial Gas.
• 8+ years in a Project Engineering or discipline lead role.
• Experience managing $100MM+ capital investments.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership.

What you will enjoy doing*

• In this role, you will act as a critical member of the proposal and/or project management team together with the Project Director or Manager, Project Procurement Manager, and Project Construction Manager
• Also, you will lead Engineering proposal development, defining structure, deliverables, timelines, and quality expectations to ensure optimal, safe, constructible, and cost-effective engineering concepts aligned with client and project requirements
• You will lead multi-disciplinary global engineering efforts in the preparation of technical deliverables in collaboration with Linde Engineering team and external parties
• Ensuring the engineering design meets contractual obligations, is safely delivered on time, and within budget with the required quality is part of your role
• You also will develop the Engineering Execution Strategy and provide input to the Project Execution Strategy
• Proactively managing risks and changes to the engineering scope, schedule, and budgeted quantities, as well as coordinating and leading internal and external design reviews with the support of discipline leads
• Identifying and coordinating resolution of technical issues and resource constraints in support of the Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, and Construction teams is crucial to your role
• You will ensure alignment of engineering activities with the overall project schedule and project plans by using effective technical coordination internally and with clients or third-party representatives

What makes you great

• You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and more than fifteen (15) years of experience in LNG, Natural Gas, Refining, Petrochemicals, Chemicals, or Industrial Gas Industry as well as an understanding of codes and regulations pertaining to facility design and engineering
• Additionally, you have more than eight (8) years of experience in a Project Engineering or engineering discipline lead role
  You have a proven record in managing a broad range of projects including large ($100MM+) capital investments
• You are a detail oriented self-starter with ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams in a diverse Global Workshare environment
• You possess effective analytical and problem-solving skills
• You have effective interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company, including working with Virtual Teams
• Past experience in the management of detailed engineering activities of modularized process plants is desirable
• Knowledge of design reviews, HAZOP / P&ID reviews, customer/supplier interface, and construction
• You have previous experience in working with municipalities on permit submittal requirements and site planning
• You have effective change management skills including an awareness of commercial impacts
• Ability to work within the office, supplier shops, construction, and operating plant environments is required

Salary Pay Range: 120,000XUSD – 150,000USD
