Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Lead EPC Engineer to drive energy projects in Houston. You will shape the EPC execution, mentor talent, and contribute to a more sustainable energy future.

Establish the project framework, own the engineering plan, and coordinate disciplines to deliver on time and on budget. You will guide cross‑functional teams, manage risks, and partner with customers and suppliers to achieve project success.

Qualifications

• Actively licensed with a local engineering governing body where required by law.
• Experience in project management, risk management, quality, procurement or construction.
• Skilled in estimating project costs and writing proposal content.

Responsibilities

• Establish the project framework for delivering engineering and design across large or multiple projects.
• Own the engineering plan, scope, cost and time requirements, coordinating disciplines to ensure project success.
• Participate in project execution strategy and planning, driving innovative solutions and methods.
• Support constructability, operability and maintainability reviews, provide on-site support for construction or turnover.

Job Details

• Establish the project framework for delivering engineering and design, providing cross discipline coordination and supervision by directing project execution activities for one large or several smaller projects
• Own the engineering plan and the project scope, cost and time requirements, coordinating the disciplines to ensure project success and taking corrective action on issues, staffing, scope changes or other events affecting completion and profitability
• Participate in project execution strategy and planning, driving innovative solutions and methods to effectively work out of sequence, and plan and monitor inter discipline quality including squad checking
• Support constructability, operability and maintainability reviews, resolve issues with site personnel, and may provide or lead on site support for construction, commissioning or turnover

Requirements

• Actively licensed with a local engineering governing body where required by law
• Strong understanding of cross discipline work, interfaces and sequencing, and well versed in project setup, work processes, team monitoring, execution and closeout
• Experience in project management, risk management, quality, procurement or construction
• Skilled in estimating project costs and writing proposal content
